How can I store Hannah's Handcrafted Elderberry Syrup?
Part of our process is to seal jars after making them. We are undergoing active laboratory testing to check shelf stability. At this point (April 2020) we know they are shelf stable for up to 2 months without opening. We will continue to update this site as we gain further knowledge from the testing. However, after the seal has been broken and the jar has been opened, it must be stored in the fridge and it is good in the fridge for 4-6 weeks. We recommend storing half in the fridge and freezing the other half. We freeze in ice cube trays so it is easy to pop out a serving size and take it! The syrup is able to be stored in the freezer for up to six months.
